Zorb: Cosmic Breaker
A downloadable game
Retro Soul. Modern Speed. Pure SID-Style Power.
Forget slow-paced block breaking. This is a brutal collision of 1982 aesthetics and ultra-fluid 16-bit performance. Built for the Linux terminal, this is a high-speed ritual of code and raw synthesis.
TWO DISTINCT MODES:
- 1982 MODE (C64 Style): Pure, raw, 8-bit aesthetic. The authentic soul of the machine as we remember it.
- FLUID MODE (16-Bit Modern): Classic style pushed to the limit. Ultra-high frame rates, 16-bit smoothness, and zero lag.
WHY IT HITS DIFFERENT:
- LINUX TERMINAL NATIVE: Built for the void. Runs directly in your Linux Terminal – pure, raw, and efficient.
- FULLSCREEN IMMERSION: Hit F11 for instant fullscreen glory. No distractions, just the machine.
- SID-STYLE AUDIO ENGINE: No generic samples. Using SID-inspired synthesis tricks to get that gritty, 8-bit sound directly from the code.
- DYNAMIC SYNERGY: Music and gameplay fusion. When you hit the flow, you react by instinct. 6502-level reflexes required!
- POWER-UPS & CHAOS: Grab upgrades, shatter barriers, and control the chaos that intensifies with every stage.
THE RULES (SIMPLE BUT BRUTAL):
- REFLEX IS EVERYTHING: The ball accelerates. You must be faster than a CPU clock interrupt.
- LEVEL CLEARED: After every stage, you get a moment of silence. Your only time to breathe.
- READY? FIRE!: The next level won't start itself. Hit SPACE or FIRE to trigger the next dynamic wave.
"One more level. One more bit. Pure terminal-based adrenaline."
